Wow, 2 blogs in one day! I just wanted to mention how proud and thankful I am for our children. Amanda and Andrew are willingly adding another day at their jobs to help out with our bills, so we won't be so tight! I love that they did not complain about having to help the family out. They know that we are a family and we are in this together, and they want to help out any way they can. Cathryn is a blessing also, and we love all of you very much. Thank you Lord f or my 3 blessings! We have discussed Allen getting another job, but we decided with his wrists wearing out from first job and also the lack of sleep he would get that it's just not going to work. So we will pinch our money the best we can and be wise with what the Lord has given us. With his jobs overtime being very sporadic, he can not really get one. We just pray his job gets more orders and that it will be enough til then. He has a one day a week part time job that helps with gas so hopefully that will hold up. We are just going to trust the Lord for His provision.
well time to get school underway!

Thankful and Blessed beyond measure
Well, I haven't been on my blog in a very long time! A lot has gone on since my last blog, especially just within a month! My huxband's hours have been cut the last few weeks, things have been tough. It has taught us to be more frugal with how we spend our money especially where groceries are concerned and gas. Our hot water heater leaked all over the floor one night ( all night long) which was pretty stinky for a couple of days because of mold! Our capacitor on our AC went out , so replaced that. Our car with the only good AC needs new heads, that cost an arm and a leg, so it will be sitting for a while or just used as an errand car in our home town. But even after all that God is good and He is in control! I serve a Sovereign God and He knows what is best and what He can handle. He is the only way we can get through such circumstances. He has blessed us through very loving, generous church members, that have given us funds in our times of need. We love you and you know who you are! I don't know what we would do without such wonderful friends in our lives. Love tjem more than words could ever express. Well we will await the next challenge, because whatever God has in store, He brought us to it and He will get us through it. Maybe it won't be so long in between blogs next time. Pray that I will be a faithful daughter of the King and not be a worrier when there is no need to do so!
In Him,
Cindy

I can't believe I have not been on here since September! Guess I have just been too busy. This last week we went to VBS at the Coweta Church, we have a good time fellowshipping with like brethren. Got to see some good friends that we haven't seen in a while. Hope to keep in better contact with them in the future.
My prayers right now that I have been earnestly praying for are my children and their future spouses. I'm not in any rush for any of them to get married, but I know they will someday, so I pray God will bring Godly people into all 3 of their lives. I can't wait to see who God has for each one of them. I pray they will all have a great love for God and seek Him in all they do. I pray they will be alright with courtship because if not they will not be with my children.lol! I pray for spouses for my children that have the same beliefs as we do. I know it seems like it will be hard for them to find spouses like that, but it is not to hard for the Lord. I pray the Lord will be preparing their hearts as I am writing this and that their paths will soon cross. Well that was a mouth full! I guess that is everything for now!

I haven't been on here in a long time! Well I turned 40 on Aug. 30th. I had a wonderful Birthday, my good friends, the Birdwell's, made me a wonderful meal at their home, it was amazing. God has blessed me with wonderful friends! Ali, made me a beautiful necklace and gave me a bookmark, and a gift card to yummy Orange Leaf. My sister-in-law gave me a book of quotes and Bible verses and a mug full of chocolates. We have yet to go out to eat as a family, but we will soon, planning to go to Chili's.
Loving this cool weather, nice to have the windows open instead of Air Conditioner. Fall is my favorite time of year, I would love for the temps to stay this way all the time.
Well hopefully it won't take me this long to blog again. Have a good rest of the week!

Well we had our first day of school yesterday. It went really well! My daughter, Amanda, started teaching youngest daughter, Cathryn, piano lessons today and she is doing really well! I have been doing a family devotion with children in the morning. We wake up at 6:00 a.m., they get all chores done, read Bible on their own, eat breakfast, and then we do our Bible study together. We each pray and then Do a page out of Spurgeon's devotion book Morning and Evening. We also learn about one hymn, like who wrote it and the background of the person, then we are going to sing it. We will learn 1 hymn a week, and we also learn one verse of scripture a week. Our 1st memory verse is Matthew 6:33. Then we are ready to start school by around 7-7:30. That is pretty much our schedule for school.
My prayer is that I will be a patient teacher with my children and that they will have a love and joyful attitude in learning each day. I thank the Lord that Amanda is assisting me in teaching this year. She is teaching Andrew, Geometry and doing some English projects with him. I am so glad she is learning to be a stay at home daughter and Keeper of the Home. I hope you have a blessed day!

I haven't been on here in a while. trying to get lesson plans ready for school. We start Aug. 8th. it's just around the corner! I can't wait to get started and get some organization and structure to our lives. I hope everyone is staying cool and hydrated in this heat. I try to stay out of it as much as I can, it feels like it takes my breath away. Well I am done with my 30 day cleanse, now I'm on the yeast free diet. It has more food choices, so it won't be so boring. Well I guess I'll say good-bye for now.
